  • ChatGPT: use your Cortex memory in ChatGPT on the web, phone and desktop through the Bridge (Developer mode, Plus/Pro/Business). Step-by-step guide in the Connect panel.
  • Codex: one-click Connect for OpenAI's coding agent (app, CLI and IDE).
  • Six new personas: Finance Guide, Devil's Advocate, Language Tutor, Chief of Staff, Research Analyst, Patient Teacher.
  • Starter vault for new users at ~/Documents/Cortex.
  • Removed the "Open in Obsidian" button.

Install: download Cortex.zip below, unzip, move Cortex to Applications. macOS 15+, Apple Silicon and Intel. First launch: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway (or xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Cortex.app).

First public release.

Download: Cortex.zip below → unzip → move Cortex to Applications.
macOS 15 or later, Apple Silicon and Intel.

The app isn't signed with an Apple Developer ID yet, so allow it once: open it, then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway (or run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Cortex.app).
