AltForge v2.4.3

What changed

• Replaces the macOS update alert's release-page-only action with a direct Download Update button.
• Downloads the tag-pinned AltForge Server DMG from this repository, displays byte and percentage progress, supports cancellation, and prevents duplicate update transfers.
• Verifies the GitHub Release asset size and SHA-256 before saving it to Downloads.
• Opens the verified DMG automatically so macOS immediately presents the existing installer window.
• Keeps retry, Show in Finder, and Releases-page recovery paths when download, integrity verification, or opening fails.
• Updates AltForge for iOS, AltForge Server for macOS, and AltForge Server for Windows to version 2.4.3.

Validation

• GitHub Actions build 21 completed release contracts, 9 targeted iOS regression tests, unsigned iOS device build, Universal macOS build, Windows build, packaging, and checksum verification.
• All nine Draft assets were downloaded and checked against SHA256SUMS.txt.
• The downloaded IPA and DMG report 2.4.3 (21); the Windows executable reports 2.4.3.0.
• The macOS release binary contains the direct updater, verified-DMG flow, progress copy, and Simplified Chinese localizations.

Upgrade and limitations

AltForge Server 2.4.1 and 2.4.2 still use the older update alert, so those versions must open the Release page once to install 2.4.3. Starting with 2.4.3, future updates can be downloaded directly inside AltForge Server.

The macOS DMG uses an ad-hoc integrity signature and is not Developer ID signed or notarized. AltForge Server therefore downloads and opens the installer but does not silently replace the running application. The IPA is unsigned and the Windows ZIP is not code signed. The update-available progress, cancellation, collision, failure, and automatic-mount GUI matrix remains a manual acceptance item.
