v0.1.0-beta.1 — first public beta

First public beta of DSH-MATLAB-Workbench, an unofficial community plugin for DSH Desktop.

Features

• Official MATLAB MCP execution workflow with verified PNG/CSV/metrics artifacts.
• PID parameter validation, 2–12-controller scans, MATLAB-computed performance comparisons and visual overlays.
• Desktop figure views and explicit Agent image attachments; numeric metrics are read from MATLAB output, never inferred from plots.

Install

See the English guide or 中文说明. Download the source archive. MATLAB, a valid license and the official MATLAB MCP Server must be installed separately. No npm publication.

Verification and caveats

• Verified on one Windows machine: DSH Desktop 0.2.1-rc.2, MATLAB R2025b, official MATLAB MCP Server v0.15.0. Real Desktop → MATLAB → 3 PID runs → 4 PNGs/CSV/metrics → Desktop/Agent analysis completed.
• Syntax checks and Node regression tests: 24/24 pass. Independent MATLAB regression was also run in development.
• The portable, fresh-user installation and DSH Desktop 0.2.1-rc.3 have not yet been verified. Use this beta for evaluation, not production reliance.
• M1 historical formal acceptance remains FAIL; disable/tab lifecycle issues and local link uninstall junction residue remain unresolved. See known limitations.
