ddg-kit 0.1.0 is the first stable release of the community-maintained successor for projects that used the Web and News search capabilities of duck-duck-scrape.

Highlights:

  • Typed Web and News search APIs for TypeScript and JavaScript
  • ESM and CommonJS package entry points
  • Request timeout, cancellation, proxy, header, and safe-search controls
  • Stable typed errors instead of ambiguous empty-success responses
  • Migration guidance for duck-duck-scrape consumers
