Chess Material Studio v2.7.0
Chess Material Studio v2.7.0
Highlights
- Added a validated PGN review workflow with chapter-scoped saved PGN positions.
- Saved PGN positions can be persisted, reopened, deleted, and exported separately from puzzle material.
- Active-chapter saved PGN positions can be exported as PGN games beginning at the saved board and continuing the remaining stored main line.
- Improved PDF solution layout with width-aware wrapping and continuation across pages.
Reliability and maintenance
- PGN exports now use safer atomic publication.
- Normal PDF exports reject invalid page limits before touching the destination.
- Runtime resources resolve independently from the process working directory.
- Search batches reject stale results after source changes.
- UCI analysis rejects stale evaluations from prior positions.
- PGN parsing and session construction run off the UI update path.
- PGN terminal results are preserved and contradictory header/movetext results are rejected.
- CI and dependency-security maintenance were strengthened with pinned actions, Dependabot, and RustSec auditing.
