A grand entrance.

  • New launch animations: every time you start Glide you get one of six short animations, never the same twice in a row. First-time users get a longer intro with original music, leading into the Welcome Tour. Turn sounds off with 'Launch sounds' in Overview > General.
  • Pages now slide between tabs, cards rise in, and today's counters count up.
  • Check for Updates: a button in Overview > General, plus 'Check for Updates…' in the Glide menu and the menu-bar menu.
  • Choose whether Glide shows its menu-bar icon (Overview > General).
  • Fixes: installing an update relaunches properly again, and Glide never holds up logging out, restarting or shutting down.

If an update from 2.3-2.5 seems stuck on 'Restarting…', choose Quit Glide and it will finish installing.
