Python Template v0.5.0 is a breaking redesign into a composable, layer-based generator.

Highlights:

  • 126 catalog components and 12 editable presets, while preserving simple library, CLI, and API projects
  • FastMCP, Pydantic AI, optional Pydantic AI Harness, Lingo, Violetear, agent, RAG, data, auth, ML, serving, and observability layers
  • portable Docker plus 15 deployment targets, with Terraform, Pulumi, and native cloud adapters
  • installable repository and generated-project Agent Skills discoverable with npx skills
  • Zensical repository documentation and Vercel-ready static-site configuration
  • Python 3.12+ baseline verified on Linux, macOS, and Windows

ODMantic, AutoGOAL, FastUI, and Reflex are intentionally excluded.

Migration: none. v0.5 is incompatible with v0.4 answers and layout; generate a fresh project and move application code deliberately.
