Construct 0.1.7 preview

This preview makes the workspace sidebar adapt to the way you work instead of forcing fixed panel sizes.

Highlights

  • Locations, Files, and History can be resized independently, and their proportions are remembered.
  • Collapsing a panel now releases its space immediately so the remaining panels move up and expand naturally.
  • Each panel scrolls independently; the global sidebar controls remain fixed while long Location lists move underneath them.
  • Agent access and theme controls are now global workspace actions instead of being tied to the selected Location.
  • Connecting agents supports an explicit access scope: the current Location, selected Locations, or all registered Locations. Construct never broadens access silently.

  • Windows desktop: download Construct_0.1.7_x64-setup.exe.
  • macOS Apple Silicon: download Construct_0.1.7_aarch64.dmg.
  • macOS Intel: download Construct_0.1.7_x64.dmg.
  • Standalone CLI: use the construct_0.1.7_* archive matching your platform. The Windows ZIP is the CLI, not the desktop installer.
  • Integrity: SHA256SUMS contains the checksum for every installer and CLI archive.

GitHub's automatically generated source ZIP and tarball are source code, not application downloads.

Preview limitations

These builds are intentionally published as an unsigned preview:

  • macOS uses ad-hoc signing and may show Gatekeeper warnings.
  • Windows is unsigned and may show a Microsoft Defender SmartScreen warning.
