Changes

  • Persist a 20-minute nextest timeout for e2e_mcp_flow::test_e2e_mcp_flow and e2e_mcp_flow::test_web_only_sigterm_releases_ports, with 120-second slow-test warnings and a 10-second shutdown grace period. Other tests retain their existing timeout policy.
  • Generate the policy from tests/NEXTEST_GROUPS.sh so regeneration preserves it. Keep the external-resource exclusion group unchanged at 209 function filters and 7 binary filters.
  • Parse nextest group membership structurally and add regression guards for exact timeout scope, timeout-only overlap, malformed filters, missing members, and duplicates. Update the test index with the runner-specific configuration.

This release changes test-runner configuration and its guards, not MCP server or public CLI behavior. The timeout applies to nextest, not plain cargo test.

Validation

  • Configuration and version guards: 22/22 passed.
  • Scoped Clippy with -D warnings, formatting, shell syntax, and generator drift checks passed.
  • Fresh full default suite at build concurrency 16 and 16 test slots: 10,046/10,046 passed in 1,446.661 seconds, with no failures or retries; 3 pre-existing ignored cases remained ignored.
  • Both MCP cases passed on their first attempt: 245.575 seconds and 483.697 seconds. No all-feature, ignored/live-feature, or local full web build was added.
