Release v0.19.5
The generation settings shared by every model can be edited again. Saving them
had silently pinned whatever model the chat was on, which is why an output
limit set there came back the moment the model changed.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- The Generation tab in Settings reaches the shared values again. It saved to
whichever model the chat happened to be on — and a model is always selected —
so the values every other model falls back to could not be changed from the
interface at all. The tab now says what it writes to: it defaults to the
values every model shares, and pins to a single model only when that is
chosen explicitly. - A context size of -1 is never sent to Ollama. Settings saved while a hosted
model was selected can carrynum_ctx: -1, which hosted backends ignore but
a local model would take as a real context size. There is no "unlimited"
sentinel for the context window, so a non-positive value is dropped before
the call.
