LibreAAC Android 0.1.13

Long-pressing app controls no longer opens Android text-selection actions.
Button and button-like control labels are non-selectable while editable fields and ordinary content remain selectable.
The Android release pins the merged LibreAAC web revision b353807630969efb51d69ea7ad6e66a8151b8b1c.

  • Clearing the phrase with the red X now immediately stops active text-to-speech.
  • Clearing also stops any currently playing recorded board audio.
  • Updated the shared audio-output handling for more consistent behavior across platforms.

LibreAAC Android 0.1.11

This release disables Android SDK dependency metadata in the APK signing block for compatibility with F-Droid package verification. There are no user-facing changes.

LibreAAC Android 0.1.10

Reduces the built-in selection to nine boards for a substantially smaller installation.
CommuniKate 12, Quick Core 84 and 112, and Vocal Flair 84 remain available separately from the public openboards collection.
All bundled board archives are documented under CC BY 4.0; the bundle no longer requires the F-Droid NonFreeAssets anti-feature.
Fixes Android asset staging so boards removed from the manifest cannot remain in later APK or AAB builds as stale generated files.

LibreAAC 0.1.9

This release improves public-source and F-Droid build reproducibility.

Changes

  • Pins the exact LibreAAC web application and OpenBoards sources using public Git submodules.
  • Removes path-dependent build metadata from release APKs.
  • Adds automatic-update and reproducible-build support for F-Droid.
  • Updates the public clean-build documentation.

Application behaviour and the bundled communication boards are unchanged from LibreAAC 0.1.8.

The APK is approximately 586 MB because it includes the bundled Open Board vocabulary sets for offline use.
