Lightmorphic Paste, formerly Pastemorphic. Same extension, shorter name.
No Google account needed. Download lightmorphic-paste-chrome-1.0.0.zip,
unzip it, open your browser's extensions page (brave://extensions,
vivaldi://extensions, edge://extensions or chrome://extensions), turn on
Developer mode, then choose Load unpacked and pick the folder you
unzipped.
For Firefox use lightmorphic-paste-firefox-1.0.0.zip: open about:debugging,
choose This Firefox, then Load Temporary Add-on and pick the manifest file.
Already using Pastemorphic?
Nothing is lost. The bookmark folder is found by what is inside it, so your old
folder is adopted and quietly renamed. Notes saved by any earlier version are
still read.
What it does
Keeps the short pieces of text you paste over and over, and puts one back on
your clipboard with a click, or straight into the box you were typing in. Notes
are stored as ordinary bookmarks, so they follow you between computers on your
browser's own bookmark sync, with no account and no server.
- Tabs to group notes, dragged into whatever order you like
- Four keyboard shortcuts for the ones you reach for most
- Right-click selected text on any page to save it
- Right-click inside a text box to paste any note
- Search across every tab at once
- Follows your browser's light or dark setting
- Twelve accent colours, or one of your own
- Backup to a file, and restore from one
