No Google account needed. Download pastemorphic-chrome-1.0.0.zip, unzip
it, open your browser's extensions page (brave://extensions,
vivaldi://extensions, edge://extensions or chrome://extensions), turn on
Developer mode, then choose Load unpacked and pick the folder you
unzipped.

Firefox drops temporary add-ons when it closes.

What it does

Keeps the short pieces of text you paste over and over, and puts one back on
your clipboard with a click — or straight into the box you were typing in.
Notes are stored as ordinary bookmarks, so they follow you between computers on
your browser's own bookmark sync, with no account and no server.

  • Tabs to group notes, dragged into whatever order you like
  • Four keyboard shortcuts for the ones you reach for most
  • Right-click selected text on any page to save it
  • Right-click inside a text box to paste any note
  • Search across every tab at once
  • Follows your browser's light or dark setting
  • Twelve accent colours, or one of your own
  • Backup to a file, and restore from one

Privacy

No network requests of any kind. No server, no account, no analytics, no
advertising. Because notes are bookmarks, they are as visible as any other
bookmark — keep passwords and card numbers out of it.
