[FEATURE REQUEST] Collections - create place by entering GPS coordinates

I have linked Google Maps API, but since not every POI can be found using the search button, I'd like to have following options to sit right inside Collections without having to create or tweak anything in My Trips beforehand.

Collections

1. Search and add:
   -option to create/search & add a place by entering GPS coordinates

2. Display places created with GPS coordinates

3. Upload own photos to places:
   -upload own photos to created place
   -option to disable auto fetch cover image

4. Organize places list
   -sort places by name A-Z
   -sort manually by dragging etc.

5. Creating sublists
   -creating sublists within a list (this would become very handy)

I haven't linked a Google Maps API, so maybe it's different for you, but for me:

1. You can do this already
2. You can do this already

4. You can drag places when they are added to specific days, or add categories if you want some kind of organization in places list
5. You cannot do this yet.

Maybe I was unclear. I have linked Google Maps API and I would like the requested features directly in the Collections section, without having to perform anything in My Trips beforehand.

Can you still perform 1-4 in Collections independently?

1. Search and add
   I am unable to add/save place by entering GPS coordinates.

2. Upload own photos to places
   I don't see the option to upload photos from local drive. I can only insert a link.

Not sure if I'm missing something.

You dont have to search for the place, you can put the coords in directly in the coords fields.

Also you can upload images in the upload files box.

there is no field for coords when creating a place inside a collection, it behaves differently then when you are inside a Trip

Thanks for the detailed write-up! Coming to dev now: adding/editing a place by GPS coordinates (with a "lat, lng" paste), and sorting a list A–Z.

Uploading your own photo to a saved place already landed with the recent custom-image change. For organising a list I'd lean on custom labels rather than nested sub-lists — that's the direction I want to keep. Ships in 4.0.0.
