[FEATURE] Overview of complete routes over all travel days

[defcon86]

First of all, thank you very much for this great project!

I would like to have an overview that displays the complete route across all travel days, including the total distance of the entire trip.

Currently, the routes and distances are shown separately for each day. A combined overview would make it much easier to understand the full itinerary, evaluate the overall route, and see the total distance at a glance.

Ideally, the overview would include:

• The complete route for all travel days on one map
• The total distance of the entire trip
• Optionally, the individual daily stages highlighted in different colors

**Thank you very much!

Best regards!**

Yes, this would be great!

Plus: on the exported PDF file a map of the trip would be nice, too

Folding #1726 in here, since it asks for the same overview. Two points from @elamotte that are worth having in this thread rather than lost with it:

• The travel mode per stage in the overview, not just the line and the distance.
• The reason the total matters, which neither request spells out on its own: on a road trip that number is what a fuel estimate is built on, and on a multi-country trip the per-day figures say nothing about the whole.

Together with @cheabit's point about the PDF export, that makes the shape of it fairly clear: one map with every day's route, the daily stages distinguishable, a total distance, the mode per stage, and the same map in the exported PDF. Not queued yet, but this is now the thread for it.
