Hey @nickjfrench, thanks for the detailed mockup! End date for cruises — this is already implemented! As of the next release (2.9.0), all reservation types (including cruises) support multi-day spanning with separate start and end dates. A cruise will appear on every day in its range with phase badges (Start → Ongoing → End). Live in As for the rest — cruise stops, sea days, gangway times, per-day itineraries within a booking — that's way too specialized for a general-purpose trip planner. TREK handles cruises the same way it handles any multi-day booking: you set the dates, and plan your daily activities in the day plan as usual. Port days can be planned with places on the map, sea days can be left empty or filled with notes. Also worth mentioning: you can add day notes to any day in the plan — these are flexible note cards with different icons that you can use to jot down gangway times, embarkation details, or any other per-day info. They're draggable and can be mixed in with your places in the timeline. Building a dedicated cruise sub-planner would add a ton of complexity for a very niche use case. The existing day plan already covers everything you need — just in a more general way. |
