v0.3.2
Use lilxcham.com for the site links (0.3.2) The GitHub Pages site now lives on the account's custom domain, so the join links, the Discord "Get Encore" button and badge, the installer's support link and the README point there directly instead of through GitHub's redirect. v0.3.1
Encore 0.3.1: always-on Listen along button, remove Last.fm and Spotify - Discord status: a "Listen along" button whenever the status is on (new option, on by default), next to "Get Encore", with an Encore badge. - The always-on session publishes only while someone listens: guests send an encrypted check-in (sealed so it can never pass for playback) when joining and every 10 minutes; the host answers with its current state. This keeps it within ntfy.sh's 250 messages a day per IP. Sessions started from Settings publish every change as before. - Guests ignore a cached state older than 2 minutes when joining. - Quitting announces the end of a session only if someone was listening, with a 2-second limit, so being offline no longer holds up quitting. - Removed Last.fm scrobbling and following, Spotify playlists, following Spotify friends through a Discord bot, and the code only they used (YouTube Music song search, DPAPI secrets). Their saved credentials are deleted from settings.json on startup. - Dev builds no longer save window positions over the real profile's. - Site and README updated. v0.3.0
Rename to Encore for YouTube Music, open-source under GPL-3.0 (0.3.0) - New name and icon, so the app is no longer presented as YouTube Music itself: window, tray, installer, exe and Start menu entries are "Encore". The installer replaces earlier "YouTube Music" installs (Go 0.2.x and Electron 0.1.x) only when their uninstall entry shows they are this app, and carries over "Start with Windows". Settings and sign-in in ~/.youtube-music, the ytm-desktop:// links and the repo name are unchanged, so existing installs update and join links work. - License: GPL-3.0. - Download page and code signing / privacy page on GitHub Pages, with screenshots; README rewritten for users. - Discord status gets a "Get Encore" button (after "Listen along" while hosting). - Last.fm: release builds can carry the app's own API account (from the LASTFM_API_KEY / LASTFM_SHARED_SECRET build secrets), so following someone needs no setup and scrobbling only needs Connect; a user's own key still takes precedence. v0.2.2
Add listen along, Spotify following and playlists, Last.fm (0.2.2) - Listen along: host a room and share a code or link (or the button on your Discord status); guests follow song, position, pauses, seeks and skips over an AES-256-GCM encrypted ntfy.sh relay. Join page on GitHub Pages and a ytm-desktop:// link handler. - Follow someone on Spotify through your own Discord bot (live presence) or through Last.fm now playing. - Play a Spotify playlist as a YouTube Music queue, through the Web API or Spotify's public playlist page. - Last.fm scrobbling with an offline queue. - Mini player, taskbar thumbnail buttons, now playing in the tray, window position restore, scroll-to-change volume. - Update downloads verified against the published SHA-512; secrets kept with DPAPI; app.log for troubleshooting. - Settings are written to disk in the order they change, so two quick saves can no longer leave an older copy on disk.
