First release. A native Rust OpenDeck plugin for controlling LIFX smart lights over the local LAN protocol - no cloud API, no Wine, runs natively on Linux, Windows, and macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon).

Actions

  • Turn On / Turn Off / Toggle - live on/off/offline state shown on the key
  • Set Color - HSBK picker, capture-from-device, optional 4-preset cycle mode
  • Set Brightness - preserves hue/saturation/kelvin, optional 25/50/75/100% cycle mode
  • Set Waveform - pulse/sine/half-sine/triangle/saw effects
  • Debug - diagnostics bundle for troubleshooting

Every action supports targeting a specific device, several devices, a whole LIFX group, or every currently-known device.

Installing

See docs/install.md - download lifx-opendeck-plugin-v1.0.0.zip below and install it from OpenDeck's Plugin Store ("Install from file"). No need to pick a platform-specific download - the zip bundles all 4 platform binaries and OpenDeck selects the right one automatically.
