Instructions for Build and Use

Steps to build and/or run the software:

1. Clone the repository from GitHub
2. Install python, django, spotipy, react native, and expo
3. Cd into the wrapit, modible, instant wrapped folder and run npx expo start
4. Download the expo go app on your phone and scan the QR code to open the app
5. If you want to use the web press w in the terminal

Instructions for using the software:

1. Once the the app has started, open it on your phone or web browser
2. Login with your Spotify credentials and authorize the app
3. Explore your listening habits and view analytics about your music preferences

Development Environment

To recreate the development environment, you need the following software and/or libraries with the specified versions:

• Download python, django, spotipy, react native, and expo
• Open the project in your favorite IDE

Future Work

The following items I plan to fix, improve, and/or add to this project in the future:

• Right now I the connect and redirect using Render gives a bad login, which prevents the data from being grabbed. I plan to continue to work on this to make it possible for the app to function as intended
• Improve the user interface and user experience of the app
• Like with my other spotify project, I want to add more analytics and visualizations to give users deeper insights into their listening habits
