remote-api extension
The following apk is the remoteapi extension. It allows you to connect to any compatible API server as a book source. This allows us to easily use crawlers and book source written in other languages (like python) as a book source.
What API servers are compatible?
- OneAPI Specs: https://github.com/lingo34/extensions-source/blob/feat/remote-api-extension/server/remoteapi_fastapi/docs/remote-api-openapi.yaml
- docs: https://github.com/lingo34/extensions-source/blob/feat/remote-api-extension/server/remoteapi_fastapi/docs/remote-api.md

Jinman Tian Tang (jmcomic) API server
- https://github.com/lingo34/extensions-source/tree/feat/remote-api-extension/server/jmcomic_fastapi
- This implementation is much better than the current kotlin extension (as of now...) because this uses jmcomic python library, which allow us to bypass cloudflare.
- This is the core reason I implement all these. See keiyoushi#5954 (comment)
In the project directory, server directory contains the API server implementation and documents.
The kotlin extension is in src/all/remoteapi directory. Build it yourself by running ./gradlew src:all:remoteapi:assembleDebug from the project root.
I just want to read Jinman Tian Tang. How can I do that?
- Download and install the apk below.
- Deploy the FastAPI server here (https://github.com/lingo34/jmcomic_tachiyomi_fastapi) somewhere using python or uv or docker.
- In your Mihon / tachiyomi variants comic app, enter the setting page of this extension, and set the url to the address of this server.
- Done
