First release.
A local web app for browsing, auditing and pruning the auto memory Claude Code keeps under ~/.claude/projects.
npm install -g claude-memory-admin
claude-memory-adminWhat it does
- Lists every project by its real path, recovered from the
cwdin session transcripts, because the directory names on disk are lossy slugs. - Full-text search across every project, with snippets and match highlighting.
- Prune: how close
MEMORY.mdis to the 200 line / 25KB load limit, the over-long index hooks that drive most of the bloat, and likely-overlapping notes ranked by shared rare vocabulary. - Graph of the
[[wikilinks]]between memories. - Health: orphans, dangling pointers, broken wikilinks, name mismatches.
- Delete with cascade, clear a whole project, or clear a dead link. Everything goes to
memory/.trashwith a restore record.
The only writes are delete, restore and unlinking a dead wikilink. The server binds 127.0.0.1 and makes no network calls.
Published with npm provenance. Tested on Node 20.6, 22 and 24.
