nemo selects next file after a move has been made

 * Graphics hardware *and* driver used  mesa intel x.org
 * 32 or 64 bit 64bit

Issue
files have been moved
the next file in the list in the from folder is selected
why is this an issue?
if do not pay attention or the list is outside the visible part of the window, and I shift-control select other files then use the right-click delete function, the unplanned file will also be deleted and gone forever.

Steps to reproduce
Select a group of files
move them to another folder (e.g. in dual-pane view)

Expected behaviour
files are moved
no file selected in the from folder

not shift-control select,
meant CTL-Click to select files, or SHFT-Click to select range of files
(although the former works as well to select files)

My point though is that when the files have been moved, a file that was not part of the selection is then highlighted (i.e. selected)

Some screenshots of an example would help to reproduce this.
Is the problem restricted to the view type (icon, list or compact)?

Why is an issue?
One deletes or moves a file. The one following the one that was moved has been selected.
I guess it only is an issue when one has set Nemo to "Single click to open items"

I have tried to reflect this with screenshots but with nvme and ssd it is so fast I cannot react fast enough. So let me try to explain.
I want to move a 30GB folder to another drive, plus other folders / files.

1. shift-click any unselect item
2. shift-click item to move
3. scroll down so item being moved is no long visible
4. shift-click next item to be moved
5. continue until list of items to be moved is complete

as a move is completed, so the item below it is auto selected
so, if I then shift-click another item, the auto-select will be included in the move

when it is big folders that are moved this can take time, so I continue with other work in say a different workspace.

At some point I want to access the auto-selected folder (which has now been moved - that may be days later - only to find that it is no longer there, and I have no idea where it is.

If one of the list of moves was a delete, then it could be gone forever.

I hope that makes it more clear.
