- On devices that get TCC's newer default profiles (e.g. InfinityBook Pro Gen 8, Polaris, Stellaris), these showed up with their internal ids (
__profile_silent__,__office__, …): tccd stores the id as the name and only the TCC app translates it. Pulsgeber now shows the names the TCC app uses (“Powersave extreme”, “Quiet”, “Office and Multimedia”, “High Performance”; German “Energie sparen”, “Leise”, “Office und Multimedia”, “Hohe Leistung”). Legacy and custom profiles are unchanged.
Install
Download pulsgeber@linuxundich.de.shell-extension.zip and run
gnome-extensions install --force pulsgeber@linuxundich.de.shell-extension.zipthen log out and back in (Wayland) and enable it with gnome-extensions enable pulsgeber@linuxundich.de. Requires GNOME 50 or 51 and a running tccd.
