Maintenance release with audited dependency updates and verified stdio/HTTP compatibility, including fresh installs on Node.js 18.

  • Update Express 5, Zod 4, Axios, TypeScript 7, and transitive dependencies.
  • Retain MCP SDK 1.29.x for Node 18 support. A fresh 1.1.5 install could select the SDK's new Hono v2 adapter (Node 20+) and fail HTTP initialization; 1.1.6 fixes that dependency graph. Existing 1.1.5 artifacts/tags are unchanged.
  • Keep Bun manifests and lockfiles synchronized through Dependabot and run dependency audits in CI.
  • Verify the packed package after a fresh production install, covering both MCP transports on Node 18 without reusing the repository lock.
  • Report the package version in the MCP handshake and HTTP startup message instead of the stale 1.0.2 value.
  • Wait for exact npm version propagation before MCP Registry registration, with registry-only recovery support.

Validation: frozen install, zero-vulnerability audit, TypeScript build, locked transport tests and fresh-package Node 18 tests. Coverage includes tool discovery/schemas, request mapping, defaults/pagination, provider errors, malformed requests and HTTP session termination. Tests use a local API double; live MinerU parsing and file upload/extraction were not exercised. Tool inputs and document-processing logic are unchanged.

Install: npx -y mineru-mcp@1.1.6 (set MINERU_API_KEY for provider calls).
