Highlights:

  • safer local onboarding for Codex, OpenCode, Cursor, Claude Code, and Claude Desktop;
  • separate agent workspace and WordPress roots, including LocalWP app/public layouts;
  • structural MCP config merge with automatic backups, atomic mode-0600 writes, and no static project token;
  • exact MCP package handoff required before Ready;
  • pairing recovery and tombstone backups that remove newly created files during rollback;
  • WordPress 6.8–7.1 and PHP 8.0–8.4 qualification.

Qualified local flows:

  • Codex, OpenCode, Cursor, and Claude Desktop Free completed real handoff, snapshot, preview, write, and rollback with MCP 0.2.0-beta.5.
  • Claude Code configuration generation is available but remains preview/configuration-only in this beta.
