Stability and trustworthy speed measurements

• Repair the tests for the official Stream Deck SDK and asynchronous property-inspector resources. Add deterministic transfer tests and real curl tests against a loopback-only server.
• Measure HTTP application goodput consistently: received download bytes or fully HTTP-acknowledged upload bytes divided by actual phase wall-clock time. Include connection, TLS, response waits and final-transfer completion time; do not sum stream peaks or use Cloudflare's fast-sample percentile.
• Reject unacknowledged timed-out uploads, malformed transfer metrics, unexpected sizes and HTML/JSON download pages instead of displaying misleading speeds.
• Fix curl startup without an AbortSignal, VPN-status monitoring for a standalone Speed Test key, and screen-layout recovery after a transient SDK error.
• Use English as the sole UI resource for every Stream Deck application locale. Remove the Russian resource and ignore obsolete per-action language settings without losing other saved settings.

Happ window preservation

This public update also includes the local 1.12.3 window-state fix: an open Happ window stays open, a tray window returns to tray using Happ's own close handler, and a taskbar-minimized window is minimized again. No forced SW_HIDE, repeated hide loop or focus manipulation. A brief deeplink-induced window flash can still occur. The user confirmed this behavior in 1.12.3; the helper is unchanged in 1.12.4.

Dial/key provider selection changes only Yandex / Cloudflare / Speedtest.net, never Happ's VPN server. Server selection, subscriptions and account settings are unchanged.

Built-in Stream Deck localization

• Plugin/action metadata, property inspector labels/help/errors and rendered speed units now use root locale resources (en.json, ru.json, custom strings under Localization).
• Runtime text uses the official streamDeck.i18n.translate() API. The property inspector follows info.application.language and reads the same locale resources, with English fallback.
• Removed the per-action language selector and embedded translation dictionaries. Previous language overrides are ignored; saved icons, test service, appearance and timing settings are retained.
• Retained SDKVersion 3, the official Elgato Node SDK, existing UUIDs and key/dial/Neo functionality.

English is the fallback for languages without a supplied translation. Russian resources are retained for an application locale of ru; Russian is not currently listed as an official Stream Deck UI language.

Installation

• Public package: com.llwhite.happtoggle.streamDeckPlugin.
• Compatibility package for the earlier test UUID: com.user.happtoggle-1.12.1.streamDeckPlugin.
• Requirements remain Windows 10/11, Stream Deck 7.6+ and Happ installed separately.

The 1.12.0 release remains unchanged. The repository README and description edited by the owner are preserved.

Verification and Marketplace

Official SDK localization tests, inspector fallback/settings tests and adapter smoke tests passed. Both installers passed official Elgato CLI 1.10.2 validation and packaging; archive contents, CRC and SHA-256 are verified. No VPN switching, network speed tests or hardware tests were performed by the assistant for this update.

This update addresses Elgato's localization review feedback. The previous Maker Console summary displayed SDK3 compatibility and DRM enabled; approval of this resubmission is not claimed. Upload the new public installer and briefly check the settings and controls on your device.

SDK3 Marketplace update

The previous package used SDKVersion 2 and a hand-written WebSocket client. Marketplace reported SDK Compatibility and DRM protection failures. The update uses SDKVersion 3 and the official @elgato/streamdeck 3.0.2 SDK, with a bundled ESM entry and public action APIs for keys, dials and Neo. Advanced user overrides and logs move to %APPDATA%\HappToggle\<plugin UUID>\, leaving distributed files unchanged.

The SDK3 runtime is bundled and both namespaces pass official Elgato CLI 1.10.2 validate/pack. A local adapter smoke test also passes. The main installer contains the SDK3 update; older SDK2 assets are preserved with -preview names. Original code, documentation and artwork are MIT licensed. Consult VALIDATION.json for checks and PUBLICATION.json for publication state.
