Subject: Persistent CUDA Error with Fooocus Installation

Hello,

I am seeking help with a persistent issue while trying to run the Fooocus image generation software locally. I recently joined the team and opted for a local install because using Google Colab/Drive caused constant connection drops that prevented me from generating images.

My system specifications are:

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 with 8 GB VRAM

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X

Despite following the installation steps, the program consistently fails to launch with the same error:

RuntimeError: CUDA error: no kernel image is available for execution on the device

To resolve this, I have taken the following extensive troubleshooting steps:

Driver Clean Install: Installed the latest NVIDIA Studio Driver using the "Clean Installation" method to remove all conflicting driver files.

Path Correction: Moved the entire Fooocus installation off of OneDrive to a clean, local drive (e.g., C:\Fooocus) to eliminate synchronization and path length conflicts.

File Cleanup: Attempted to correct the run_realistic.bat launch file and manually deleted the python_embedded folder to force a clean re-installation of the Python/CUDA environment.

Despite all these steps, the program returns the exact same CUDA error. I am unable to generate any images. Could you please advise on what steps to take next?

please find the instructions in various discussions below where other people were already able to successfully install the cu128 (or later) nightly driver manually on top of the provided Fooocus installation.
