  • Install with one command. curl -fsSL https://lmcjt37.github.io/baton-releases/install.sh | sh downloads the latest release, checks its checksum and signature, installs Baton.app and puts baton on your PATH. No need to open Baton once first.
  • Install 'baton' Command… recognises a baton linked by the install script, as it does Homebrew's.

The first public release.

  • Isolation per worktree. Each worktree gets its own Metro (never 8081), its own simulators and emulators, and a check that every app loaded that worktree's bundle.
  • Queueing. Machine-wide simulator and emulator budgets; runs wait their turn instead of failing.
  • CLI, MCP and menu bar app. baton, baton mcp for agents, and a dashboard with live progress, screenshots, logs and baton:// links.
  • Encore reruns only failed or flaky flows. Affected flows run only the flows a worktree's changes touch.
  • Build cache. Builds the app when its native fingerprint changes, shared across worktrees.
  • Live viewer of every running simulator and emulator.
  • Expo dev clients on iOS and Android.
  • Android emulators per worktree, with clearState-safe Metro routing and snapshot boots.
  • Installs from a signed, notarised universal DMG or brew install --cask lmcjt37/tap/baton, and updates itself.
