[Macos] Run app without root, from any folder

After 0.3.6 its possible to run LM Studio only at /Applications

Please provide workaround

The app does not require root, but it is expecting to live in /Applications. Is that a hard blocker for you? If yes, can you please share info why?

i have a corp macbook with strict policies. my account doesn`t have permissions to write in /Applications folder.

before 0.3.6 i simply run LM stdudio from ~/Downloads folder

+1 same, I also cannot run 0.3.8 because of policy that allows signed app-binaries, but forbids writing to /Applications.

0.3.9 still cannot run on any folder 😢

It is necessary since some machine has security rules to prevent 3rd party apps from being installed on the root Application folder.
