A way in, a way out, and a language switch that tells the truth.
Settings without the shortcut
The settings window existed from 0.1.1 but only answered to ⌘, and a menu
item, which is a poor way to find something you do not yet know is there. A
gear now sits at the bottom of the window.
Credits behind the question mark
The question mark used to open the website directly. That was a guess between
three places somebody might actually want, so it now opens a sheet holding all
of them — the site, the source code, and a way to support the work — along with
the version, the build number, and who wrote it.
The language setting
Two faults, both worth naming.
The restart notice appeared one step late: choosing English showed nothing at
all, and only coming back to French announced that a restart was needed. The
setting was being written after the screen had already redrawn itself, so the
notice was always describing the previous choice.
And it asked for a restart when nothing would change. On a French Mac, moving
from "System" to "Français" leaves the app exactly as it was, so the request
was simply wrong. It now compares the languages that would actually be drawn
rather than the settings that were stored.
Requirements
macOS 14 or later. Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so it
opens without a Gatekeeper detour.
Built for macOS 14 and later, but only tested on macOS 26 — if you run it on 14
or 15, a bug report would genuinely help.
