  • on_decoy: "warn" no longer refuses a page. A flagged URL was recorded and then refused on every later retrieval, including the explicit ones, so the mode named "warn" was a permanent block with a warning attached. The guard learns an origin's topic from what it has already seen, so a chapter whose prose shares little vocabulary with the table of contents it was found on reads as off-topic — and three chapters measured at 13,403, 11,210 and 13,190 characters of real prose were refused on the run after they were read successfully. Only "raise" refuses now. links still drops recorded decoys, because there the URL is one this package proposed rather than one the caller asked for.

  • A decoy verdict expires after a week. The check is a heuristic over vocabulary overlap, so a verdict is a guess about a page at a moment: it can be wrong, and a site that was reorganised can turn a right one stale. Kept forever, one wrong guess removed a URL from every future run with no way back except editing the store by hand. DECOY_TTL is the constant.

  • OriginProfile.decoys is a mapping of URL to the time it was judged, not a list. The store's schema is bumped, so an existing origins.json is discarded and relearned rather than guessed at.
