What is new

Native multi-database support
The read and export commands now work with both SQLite files and PostgreSQL connection strings out of the box.

Elegant error handling
Passing a non-database file (like a .kairo schema or a config file) no longer produces raw stack traces. Kairo now prints a clean, formatted error message explaining what went wrong and what to do instead.

Cross-platform standalone installation
New install.ps1 (Windows) and install.sh (macOS/Linux) scripts allow installing KairoDB globally without Rust or Cargo. Download the binary, run the installer, and you are ready to go.

Installation

Download the binary for your platform below, then run the included installer script.

• Windows: kairo-windows.exe -- run .\install.ps1
• macOS: kairo-macos -- run ./install.sh
• Linux: kairo-linux -- run ./install.sh
