[1.7.0] - 2026-10-07

Changed

• Built for .NET 10 / BTCPay Server 2.4.0+. BTCPay moved to .NET 10 in 2.4.0; this release follows. v1.6.6 remains the last release for BTCPay 2.0 to 2.3.

• BTCPay Server is now a git submodule at submodules/btcpayserver (pinned to v2.4.5) instead of a sibling checkout, so the repository builds from a plain git clone --recurse-submodules. This is the layout the BTCPay Plugin Builder expects.

• build-package.sh now uses dotnet publish plus BTCPay's own PluginPacker, the same steps the Plugin Builder runs, so a local package matches a builder-produced one.

• Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore.InMemory 8.0.0 to 10.0.12 to match the EF Core version BTCPay 2.4 ships.

• Declared BTCPay dependency is >=2.4.0 (was >=2.0.0).

• The package no longer carries loose copies of Views/*.cshtml. The Razor SDK compiles them into the plugin assembly; the copies were never read.

Fixed

• .DS_Store files are no longer packaged from wwwroot/.

Install

1. Create an API key at console.flashapp.me with scopes read_user read_wallet write_wallet read_transactions.
2. Download BTCPayServer.Plugins.Flash.btcpay below and upload it in Server Settings → Plugins, keeping that exact file name. Restart.
3. Store → Lightning → Use custom node: type=flash;server=https://api.flashapp.me/graphql;token=fk_...

Upgrading from 1.5.x

1.6 is a substantial fix release. Highlights:

• Console API keys (fk_...) replace expiring session tokens.
• Invoices are only marked paid when Flash confirms that exact invoice. 1.5.x could credit an unpaid invoice (for example a Boltcard top-up) when another payment arrived around the same time.
• Correct amounts: 1.5.x recorded 100× the amount received.
• Sends work on accounts moved to the USDT cash wallet; before, they failed with insufficient balance … 0.
• Pending sends are no longer reported as completed, so cards aren't debited for payments that may fail.

Removed

• Controllers and views from the earlier dashboard UI (Controllers.backup/, Views.backup/). The controllers were still compiled into the plugin and answered requests: some pages returned HTTP 500 because their views were not packaged. The LNURL-pay endpoints in FlashLNURLController remain.
• A demo class (Tests/LnurlMetadataTest.cs) that was compiled into the plugin.

Fixed

• The plugin icon had stray text after the closing </svg> tag.

Changed

• Release packages are published as GitHub releases instead of being committed to releases/.
• Documentation rewritten: installation, how it works, troubleshooting, development.
