  • Shorten the README around the product decision, safe evaluation, installation, and adoption. Remove stale
    version-pinned launch copy and move deep operational detail behind maintained references.

  • Preserve Rustup proxy selection while binding distributed execution to the exact sysroot compiler, derive archive
    protocol checks from the worker itself, and require the same eight-target archive build and smoke-test gate before a
    release commit can become publishable.

  • Resolve release-archive executables from an absolute extraction root so smoke tests remain valid after changing their
    working directory, and preserve the failing diagnostic when an archive violates its Surface capability contract.
