First release.
A start page that runs entirely in your browser. Download micasa.html, open it, done. No install, no account, no server.
On the board
Clock with sun and moon computed on device, weather, US AQI air quality with a twelve-hour trend, a configurable RSS wire, local news for wherever you are, USGS earthquakes with active weather alerts, the next orbital launch with a live countdown, and on this day.
Search
Enter hands off to Google or whichever engine you pick. Bang shortcuts, URL detection, live suggestions, and a local calculator and unit converter that never touch the network. The Nerd Search scope keeps the query on the page and asks Stack Overflow, Hacker News, GitHub, Super User, OpenAlex, the NVD and four package registries directly.
Customization
Three layout presets, eight toggleable modules, thirty-one themes across five families, plus accent, typeface, corner and animated background overrides. Editable feed desks. Location by city, postal code or device position. Units, refresh interval and relay all configurable. Settings export and import as JSON.
Privacy
No account, no analytics, no cookies, no ads, no sponsored content. Settings live in localStorage on your machine. There is no backend to collect anything with.
Requires any browser from 2022 or later. Hosted copy at https://www.lockewerks.com/micasa/app
