Tabitha Workspaces v1.9.0
Tabitha Workspaces v1.9.0 is a workspace reliability and navigation release based on direct maintainer feedback.
- Keeps one permanent, renameable Home workspace first and remembers the active save destination across the dashboard, popup, and background commands.
- Makes folders selectable and persistently expandable/collapsible, inserts new workspaces near the top, and restores reliable drag-and-drop behavior in every collection layout.
- Adds pinning, starring, and starred-only views for workspaces and collections.
- Allows direct collection renaming after capture and by clicking a collection name.
- Opens individual saved tabs from search results and List layout.
- Runs enabled WebDAV sync immediately when configured and after local library changes while preserving conflict-safe conditional writes.
The release passed 53 tests with 92.4% statement and 94.55% line coverage, Chromium and Firefox builds, manifest validation, Firefox lint with zero errors, CodeQL, and a zero-vulnerability shipped-dependency audit.

Tabitha Workspaces 1.6.0
Tabitha Workspaces 1.6.0 makes the dashboard match the way saved browser data is actually organized.
What changed
- Every workspace now displays all of its collections, not only the three most recently updated.
- Cards, Compact, List, expand, and collapse controls now live directly in the workspace.
- Saved browser state is consistently called a collection throughout Tabitha.
- Current browser state has one dedicated Open windows view, grouped by window and tab.
- Clicking a live tab now activates its browser window as well as the tab.
- Old
#/sessionsand#/livebookmarks continue to work through compatibility redirects.
Existing libraries do not need to be converted. This release changes how the same saved data is presented and named.
Install

Verification
The release passed all 42 tests, TypeScript and ESLint checks, Chromium and Firefox builds, manifest validation, Firefox extension lint, and CodeQL.

Tabitha Workspaces v1.4.0
What's Changed

Full Changelog: v1.3.0...v1.4.0
Tabitha Workspaces v1.3.0
Tabitha Workspaces v1.3.0 makes folders the isolated top-level containers that hold workspaces. Existing version 1 libraries migrate into a default Personal folder without losing saved content. Session list mode now shows one editable row per saved tab with favicon, title, URL, and a direct delete control.
Folder password protection is intentionally not included; meaningful isolation needs a separately reviewed encryption and key-management design, not a cosmetic lock.
Verification: 20 tests; 96.89% statements and 99.39% lines; formatting, ESLint, strict TypeScript, zero-vulnerability npm audit, Chromium and Firefox builds, manifest validation, protected CI, CodeQL, and tagged release packaging passed.
Tabitha Workspaces v1.2.0
Tabitha Workspaces 1.2.0 incorporates direct user feedback while preserving the local-first data model.
Highlights
- Clarifies that folders group saved items inside the current workspace and adds folder-based collection filtering.
- Makes list view genuinely compact with favicon, collection title, and primary-tab URL.
- Adds a prominent JSON-backup warning and safer instructions for replacing unpacked installations.
- Corrects the workspace overview label to Recently updated collections.
- Removes unnecessary module-preload hints that caused Chromium cross-world resource warnings.
- Preserves the existing opt-in new-tab dashboard and collection descriptions.
Verification
- 18 tests passed with 95.18% statement and 96.5% line coverage.
- Formatting, ESLint, strict TypeScript, Chromium and Firefox Manifest V3 builds, manifest and permission validation, Firefox package validation, and ZIP packaging passed.
- Production dependency audit reported zero vulnerabilities.
- CI and CodeQL passed on the pull request and merged main commit.
The Chrome and Firefox archives are installable development packages. Store publication and browser signing remain separate publisher-account review steps.
