Hello!

Version 1.0 of Logie's Pokemon Storage System companion app for the Gen 1 Recomp app is here!

It's a shared Pokémon storage box that lives on your phone.

Features:
Move and Store Pokémon
Move Pokémon between saves or stash them for another playthrough, with hundreds of extra storage slots.

Trainer Cards
Each playthrough gets a trainer card with the trainer name, badges, money, play time, and trainer sprite.

Trade Evolutions
Evolve Kadabra, Machoke, Graveler, and Haunter right in the app.

Status Screens and Pokédex
Check stats, moves, types, and Pokédex entries across all your saves.

Pokemon Sprites
Pokémon keep the sprite from the game they came from.

Colour Palettes
Use the classic green display or choose another palette.

Phone Friendly
Built for one-handed use, with foldable support, swipe controls, vibration settings, and reduced motion options.

Customizable
Don't like a feature like trade evolution or swipe controls? Toggle it off in settings.

First, go to the Gen 1 Recomp app and click the Save Sync button then choose Create Sync Account. Go to the PSS app and go to Options → Saves then enter the codes from the Gen 1 Recomp app into the appropriate boxes and hit Sync. It's as easy as that!

The app will sync with the recomp every few seconds and the recomp picks up the saves every while as well. For immediate transfers you can go in and manually sync. Each time you make a transfer in our out it will ask if you want to sync directly.

From here you have customization options. You can go to Options → Downloads to download sprites for your Pokemon. You can set your color palette from the original games with a few of my extra favorites thrown in. You can set sound settings as well as layout settings. If you have a foldable, this app is extra fun!

Pipeline

Get feedback and bug tests. the biggest thing I want to avoid is someone's saves getting wiped because I misunderstood how the save sync works.

Obviously we all want to see Gen 2 implementation, this is coming but I want to be sure Gen 1 works first before I add another generation on top of it.

Compatability with LUA mods. I'd love to have this app be able to have people mod it like they've been doing with the game carts. Don't like the layout? Mod it. Don't like the colors or them? Mod it. Again, this is coming but I'm more concerned with functionality first.

Pokémon Storage System v0.5 — DEMO

The demo for Logie's Pokemon Storage System is out! This is an actual companion app for the official Gen 1 Recomp app. It's easy to set up and transfer, but I'm looking for feedback.

First, got to the Gen 1 Recomp app and click the Save Sync button then choose Create Sync Account. Note that this is a DEMO do we are not at 1.0 release. I wouldn't transfer your entire save system in just yet. Just play around with it, give feedback, see the bugs or what you feel needs to improve function wise or looks.

I had to make a lot of compoemises due to this being an unofficial modern companion app of an old game, but I really wanted this to FEEL like you are logging into Bill's PC in-universe from your phone. I never liked the layout of the Home app as it felt like a game transfer. I still have a lot of work to do in making this feel less like a save game holder than a real in-universe app, but I'm open to suggestions.

Pipeline
