Pre-release. The seven engine crates are on crates.io (cargo add quatzal-vector); this archive carries the Linux x86_64 server binaries.
Contents: quatzal-mcp (the database server — MCP over stdio or Streamable-HTTP) and quatzal-licence (the enterprise licence issuer), plus Apache-2.0 and commercial licence texts and a SHA256SUMS manifest.
Platform: Linux x86_64 only. The storage runtime depends on io_uring through glommio, so the server does not build on Windows or macOS (WSL2 works). The portable engine crates — quatzal-vector, quatzal-graph, quatzal-schema, quatzal-project, quatzal-gpu — build anywhere.
Status: data formats are pre-release and not yet stable; old snapshots are deliberately unreadable rather than silently misread. Recall@10 is 0.909–0.997 at 10k–50k vectors and 0.507 at 1M — see the README's Limitations section before drawing conclusions.
