The installers contain the editor only. On first start the editor walks you through a one-time setup: it checks your computer, shows the model's license, and downloads the model (about 17 GB; on a Mac it then converts it to MLX). If you already have the models in ComfyUI, the editor can use those instead.
- Windows: installs per user (no administrator prompt), then downloads the editor's components (about 2 GB). It can also connect Claude Desktop, Goose and ChatGPT if they're installed.
- macOS: drag the app to Applications. The first start installs the editor's components, with a progress window.
The installers aren't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen ("More info" > "Run anyway") and macOS ("System Settings" > "Privacy & Security" > "Open Anyway") ask before the first start.
The model, Qwen-Image-2.1, is released by Qwen under the Qwen Research License Agreement, for research and other non-commercial use only. It isn't included in these downloads.
