Changes

  • Defer unnecessary classifier regression and residual deviation work (PR #20). Public feature extraction keeps the exact statistics.pstdev calculation; thresholds and classification policy are unchanged.
  • Include the previously merged running-process telemetry consent refresh and safer examples: read-only SQL verification and mandatory local container isolation for generated Python.
  • Expand verification across supported Python versions, real framework adapters, security checks, and built packages.

Measured performance

The completed Mac synthetic CPU-overhead benchmark measured a 46.6% composite runtime reduction against the unmodified baseline across 24 paired blocks, with bracketing identical-code controls. The unchanged 2% minimum-improvement and 5% regression/allocation gates passed. This result is specific to the tested hardware and workload; production latency and API-spend effects require separate measurement.

Verification

  • Exact same-environment behavior audit: 1,778 records, zero differences, including numeric extremes and exception types/messages.
  • Local full release suite: 262 passed, six optional framework-module skips; all six local container integration tests executed.
  • All 11 release CI jobs passed: Python 3.10–3.13 each passed 256 tests with 12 documented optional skips; all six real-framework jobs executed 22 tests total with zero skips. Lint, security, packaging, and installed-wheel checks passed.
  • Published PyPI wheel/source hashes verified; fresh PyPI installation, offline behavior/CLI smoke, and the synthetic telemetry pipeline smoke passed.
