Fixes

  • Fix Steam not detecting controller on Linux: Restore tud_disconnect() at boot so the Pico stays hidden until the BT controller is fully identified. The device now only enumerates on the host after DS5/DSE detection, which ensures hid_playstation binds cleanly without a race condition. No udev rules or host-side configuration required.
  • Simplify BT connect logic: single tud_connect() for both DS5 and DSE replaces the disconnect/sleep/reconnect cycle.

Notes

  • USB stays connected on BT disconnect (preserves PipeWire audio sink).
  • All Auto Haptics features from previous releases are unchanged.

Download ds5-bridge-autohaptics.uf2, hold BOOTSEL on the Pico 2 W and plug it in, then copy the file to the RP2350 volume.
