Cancellation reason now appears inline on the same row as the struck-through venue
name (e.g. "Ghost River Brewing — Private event this week"), rather than on a second line
Cancelled events now show in all shortcodes including [cerrito_today] — previously
today's widget suppressed them entirely
Full location cards ([cerrito_today] full style, [cerrito_master_schedule],
[cerrito_recurring_schedule]) also render cancelled events struck-through with the
inline reason next to the venue name
cerrito_render_location_card() now accepts an optional $check_date parameter;
callers pass the relevant date so cancellation can be detected per-render

Cancelled recurring occurrences now display as struck-through instead of being hidden,
so customers can see that an event exists but is not running this week
Added optional skip_reason text sub-field to the skip_dates ACF repeater —
add a public-facing message (e.g. "Private event this week") that appears below
the struck-through venue name in italic red; falls back to "Cancelled this week"
if the field is left blank
[cerrito_today] continues to suppress cancelled events entirely (no strike-through)
Added cerrito_get_skip_reason( $post_id, $date ) helper returning the reason string
(or '' if not cancelled); cerrito_is_skipped_on() remains as a boolean wrapper
Added cerrito_next_date_for_day_from_event( $event ) helper for use inside renderers

Add sub-field to the skip_dates repeater:
