- Redeeming Struggle: +50% Peasant and Populist faction military power
- Christian Syncretism: Made unavailable to Jews
- Rigorism: Requires either "Soteriology: Total Depravity" or "Soteriology: Gnosis" Doctrines for Christians
- Pastoral Isolation: Considers other faiths of the same religion to be Astray instead of Hostile
- Eastern Syncretism: Available to Dualist faiths and faiths with the Gnostic Tenet
- Mountain Hermits:
- No longer gets a bonus to convert faiths in mountains; retains the other bonuses
- No longer gets mediation mechanics

- Updated Caucasian Albanian name and description for a more general religion between both the Parthian ruling class and the populace
- "Communal Identity" and "Legal Pronouncements" re-localizes to Jewish localizations if a Christian faith has Judaizers doctrine
- "Righteous Rebirth" Tenet given a new localization for Christians, "Humble Savior"
- Lapsi localization for Excommunication used for faiths using the African Rite or Rigorism Tenet
- Re-localized "Alexandrian Catechism" to "Scholasticism", which is anachronistic but less so than the current description
- Replaced some references to Saint Patrick, as it is anachronistic for the early Late Antique Period
