  • Multimodal image tool returns for MCP: MCP tools returning image MIME types (ImageContent and image embedded resources) deliver structured ImageDataBlock parts directly to vision models while preserving concise textual summaries in transcripts and persistent history.
  • Default new user model updated to opencode:big-pickle: New installations and unconfigured profiles default to opencode:big-pickle for out-of-the-box free inference without token indirection.
  • Consolidated subagent orchestration: Lead agent subagent orchestration is consolidated onto the unified delegate tool, removing deprecated legacy team_* tools across the backend and prompts.
