What's changed

  • The agent can now search gitignored files. grep and glob include gitignored files such as build output, local notes, logs and plans, ranked after your source. Large ignored folders like target/ or dist/ are skipped unless you search them by name, and .env secrets stay excluded.
  • Ignore rules now match git. Nested .gitignore files, the .gitignore files in parent folders when you search a subfolder, .git/info/exclude and your global excludes all apply, so the agent treats the same files as ignored that the file panel does.
  • Live file panel for ignored folders. Files written to gitignored folders by a terminal, build or editor now show up right away in Quick Open, the @ picker and open file tabs.
  • Start a session in Plan mode. You can switch to Plan on the new-session screen before sending the first message, and the choice is kept when you change folders.
  • Subagent follow-ups reach the lead. When the lead sends a subagent a follow-up, it now gets that turn's answer instead of a repeat of the subagent's first report.
  • iOS: no more reconnect prompt after switching apps. Coming back to the app after connecting with a QR code no longer reopens the Backend connection dialog.
  • The README now has fresh screenshots in light and dark.
