NeXtep v1.2.0 adds outward swipe gestures for slot apps, improves app clone support and navigation-bar adaptation, and refines media controls and workspace stability.

Updates

  • Swipe slot apps to the background: swipe left on left-side slots or right on right-side slots. The Settings switch is enabled by default; long-pressing and dragging a slot to the top control area remains available.
  • System app clone support: cloned apps can now appear in the top app strip and manual ordering list.
  • Automatic navigation-bar adaptation: the main window and slots automatically avoid on-screen navigation buttons and adjust when the navigation mode changes or the screen rotates.
  • Improved media card backgrounds: uses frosted wallpaper when no media is available, or a soft gradient drawn from the track artwork when available. Colors remain while paused; missing or unusable artwork falls back to frosted wallpaper.
  • Redrawn playback controls: unifies the size, proportions, and visual style of the previous, play/pause, and next buttons.
  • Settings interface fix: fixes jitter during inertial scrolling on the Settings and About pages.
  • Preserve workspace mode: fixes the workspace closing unexpectedly when opening NeXtep or tapping the control area's gear button to open Settings.
  • Intermittent black background fix: improves control-area and slot background stability when entering workspace mode from an app.
  • Desktop search Back fix: fixes Back gestures and the on-screen Back button failing to exit desktop search in workspace mode.

Requirements

  • Android 16 / ColorOS 16 or Android 17 / ColorOS 17
  • Root access
  • Zygisk and LSPosed installed
  • Primarily tested on OnePlus PLK110; current changes have been partially tested on Android 17 / ColorOS 17

Installation

  1. Download and install the APK below.
  2. Enable the NeXtep module in LSPosed.
  3. Select the required module scope.
  4. Restart the device before use.

NeXtep v1.2.0 新增小窗横滑退后台，完善分身应用支持与导航栏适配，并优化媒体控件和工作区稳定性。

更新内容

  • 新增小窗横滑退到后台：左侧小窗向左滑、右侧小窗向右滑；设置中提供开关，默认开启，保留长按拖到顶部控制区退后台的方式。
  • 完善系统分身应用支持：分身应用可出现在顶部应用栏和手动排序列表中。
  • 自动适配系统导航栏：主窗和小窗自动避让虚拟按键，切换导航方式或旋转屏幕后自动调整。
  • 优化媒体卡片背景：无媒体时使用壁纸磨砂；有歌曲封面时使用封面取色的柔和渐变，暂停时保留配色，封面不可用时回退到壁纸磨砂。
  • 重绘媒体控制按钮：统一上一首、播放／暂停、下一首按钮的尺寸、比例和视觉风格。
  • 优化设置界面：修复设置页和关于页惯性滚动时的抖动。
  • 保持小窗模式：修复打开 NeXtep 或点击控制栏齿轮进入设置时，意外退出小窗模式的问题。
  • 修复背景偶发变黑：改善从应用中进入小窗模式时，控制区和小窗背景的显示稳定性。
  • 修复桌面搜索无法返回：解决小窗模式下进入桌面搜索后，返回手势和虚拟返回键无法退出的问题。

使用要求

  • Android 16 / ColorOS 16 或 Android 17 / ColorOS 17
  • 已获取 Root 权限
  • 已安装 Zygisk 和 LSPosed
  • 当前主要针对 OnePlus PLK110 测试；本次改动已在 Android 17 / ColorOS 17 上进行部分真机验证

安装方法

  1. 下载并安装下方的 APK。
  2. 在 LSPosed 中启用 NeXtep 模块。
  3. 按模块要求选择作用域。
  4. 重启手机后使用。
