A native macOS app that shows what's draining your battery — live power, per-app energy, charge history, and drain insights. 100% local, no dependencies.

Install

  1. Download BatteryHog-1.0.dmg below, open it, and drag Battery Hog to Applications.
  2. First launch: this build isn't notarized (it's free + open source), so macOS Gatekeeper blocks it once. Try to open it, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, find the "Battery Hog was blocked" message, and click Open Anyway. It launches normally after that.

Requires macOS 11+ on Apple Silicon. Everything runs locally — nothing is sent anywhere.
