Optimizations

  • Backend Session Class:
    Improved session management, performance, and introduced new methods:

    • onIpChanges: Added new, to detects and handles client IP address changes after login, allowing sessions to be destroyed or retained based callback return bool value.
    • isValidSessionId: Added new, to validates session IDs according to the session.sid_bits_per_character and session.sid_length settings.
    • synchronize: Enhanced to manage IP address handling during login synchronization. Throws an exception if an IP address is provided when $strictSessionIp is disabled.
    • start: Enhanced to properly validates passed session IDs, throwing an exception for invalid IDs during development. Defaults to PHP-generated session IDs for invalid cases.

  • Filesystem Session Handler:
    Optimized for reliable session ID generation and validation, ensuring compatibility with system configurations.

  • Debug Tracing: Optimized to ensure that only affected line of code is shown when necessary

Bug Fixes
