DSH Desktop 0.1.0

First public Windows release of the unofficial community desktop edition of DeepSeek Harness.

Highlights

  • Self-contained Windows x64 NSIS installer.
  • Bundled DeepSeek Harness Web UI and local backend; no separate Node.js installation is required at runtime.
  • Codex-inspired light desktop interface with the upstream Harness features preserved.
  • Official DeepSeek whale mark on the application, installer, taskbar, and shortcuts.
  • Backend binds only to an operating-system-assigned 127.0.0.1 port.
  • English and Chinese installation, configuration, storage, build, troubleshooting, limitation, license, and attribution documentation.

Install

Download DSH-Desktop-Setup-0.1.0.exe, verify its SHA-256 value, and run the installer. The build is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may display an unknown-publisher warning.

The first launch may take about one minute while the bundled backend is extracted. Open Settings → Models to configure a provider, then add a workspace from the sidebar.
