DSH Desktop 0.1.1

This release makes the unofficial community desktop edition of DeepSeek Harness clearer, smoother, and more Windows-native.

Highlights

  • Responsive phased startup: the bundled backend is extracted in a worker process so the window continues repainting instead of appearing frozen.
  • Immersive Windows title bar with the redundant native menu removed.
  • Electron-native workspace folder picker, fixing the Win32 folder-dialog startup error.
  • Direct link to the official DeepSeek API-key page in provider onboarding.
  • Packaging now overlays the current desktop UI bundles into the deployed backend, ensuring release builds contain the latest onboarding and folder-picker code.

Install

Download DSH-Desktop-Setup-0.1.1.exe, verify its SHA-256 value, and run the installer. The build is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may display an unknown-publisher warning.

The first launch can take about one minute while the bundled backend is extracted. Startup progress is shown in the window and the UI remains responsive.
